Ohh …It’s very easy to make. Even a kid can make this. Just you have to make all the whole spices and ground them. Always I like to ground my kabab spices after dry roast them but if you want, you can ground them without dry roasting. I roast my spices to give spices a smokey flavour which will increase my kababs smokey flavour after using it.
I always prefer to ground my spices in a Stone grinder but I know nowadays it is just hard to find out a stone grinder in a metro city. Don’t worry you can use your regular spice blender or coffee blender to make it. But homemade spices always taste far better than the ready-made one and if you can make it in a stone grinder then its great.

You may think why I am making this at home as nowadays it is just available in every grocery store!! As I always told in my many posts that the taste of homemade fresh ground spices is incomparable and better than any stored bottled ground spices. Aroma of freshly ground spices always creates a magic in the dish. Whenever we go to any famous restaurant and taste their special and popular dish we always curious about the ingredients of that dish. Many times ower of the restaurants shares their all ingredients except their secret spices. Because the spices are their key ingredient of the dish, not the other ingredients.

- All the whole spices for Dry roasting
- 4 Whole Green cardamom pods
- 4 Whole Cloves
- 1/2 Inch long Cinnamon stick or Cassia bark Ground
- 10 Pods of Allsspice / Kabab Chini
- 2Grmas Whole Nutmeg
- 2Grmas Whole Mace(flower of Nutmeg)
- 1 Whole Black Cardammom pod
- All the gound spices
- 1/2 Tsp Dry ginger powder
- 1/2 Tsp Sweet Papprica or Kashmiri Red chilli Powder
- 1 Grams Ground Turmeric powder
- 1/2 Tsp Salt or salt as per your taste

- Take a Frying pan put all the whole spices into it and dry roast them well.
- After dry roasting ground all the airtight spices in a stone grinder or ground coffee grinder.
- When all the spices ground well to mix all the ground spices with it and keep it in an airtight glass container.
- My Recommendation if you must store this homemade ground kabab masala powder in the deep fridge ( the upper compartment of the fridge where We store Ice cube). It's a must do guideline because it will keep the flavour longer. More than 5 months or longer.
