Pulao Rice with Rose saffron flavour an authentic Persian Recipe
Though this is a Persian recipe. I make this Indian saffron rice recipe extra flavourful with the help of pure Indian rose water

Ingredients
  • 2Cup Long Grain Basmati Rice
  • 3Tbsp Ghee or clarified butter
  • 1Tbsp Rose water   
  • 1/3Cup Raisins /Sultanas  
  • 1Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2Tbsp SaltOr as per your taste
  • 6-7Cups Warm Water
Instructions
  1. Boiled basmati rice with warm water for 15 mins over the high flame. Then strain all the water from rice when rice is properly cooked.
  2. Now take 1 cup of cooked rice mix the rice with saffron water and ½ tbsp sugar salt,1/2 tbsp rose water and keep the mixture aside.
  3. Now take the rest of rice and mix with a 1/2 Tbsp of salt and 1/2 Tbsp sugar and 1/2 Tbsp of Rose water.
  4. Take a big pot Layered the two colour of Rice into the pot and add 3 tbsp ghee on top and cover the pot with a wet towel and put the pot in very low flame for 5 mins.After 5 mins open the cover and decorate this dish with Soaked Raisins/Sultanas and few of Beautiful rose petals.
  5. Serve with any veg or non-veg curry.
