Ingredients
  • 5Pieces of Jumbo Prwns
  • 1/2Cup Onion PasteBlends the onion with some water and make a paste
  • 1Cup Tender coconut flesh paste
scoop out all the flesh from the green tender coconut properly and make a smooth paste using the coconut water
  • 2Tbsp Any vegetable oil
  • 1Tbsp Ginger & Garlic PasteBlends the ginger & garlic cloves with some water and make a paste easily
  • 1Tsp Full Authentic Bengali Gram Masala
  • 1Tsp Suger
  • 1Tbsp SaltOre salt as per your Taste
  • 1/2Cups of Coconut milk
  • 1/2Cups of Warm Water
Before serving Add
  • 1Tsp Clarified Butter or Ghee
  • 1 or 2Pinch of Authentic Bengali garam masala powder
Instructions
  1. Cut the bottom of the Tender coconut and make the bottom flat so that it can stand inside an oven,cooking vessels or any pressure cooker.
  2. Now Cut the head of the tender coconut in a bigger round shape, so that you caff the jumbo prawns easily inside the coconut shell.
  3. Now take a frying pan.
  4. make the pan heat enough.
  5. Now put 2 Tbsp oil into the frying pan.now make oil hot too.
  6. Just then put onion paste into
  7. Fry onion paste for 2 mins over the medium flame.
  8. After 2 Minutes add all jumbo prawns into the pan and sear all the jumbo prawns very well.
  9. Once the searing process done put ginger & garlic paste.,authentic bengali garm masala powder to the pan and fry with salt and suger for 5 minutes over the very low flame.
  10. Just after 5 Minutes add warm water coconut milk into the pan.
  11. Mix all the ingredients very well and cover the pan with a lid for another 5 minutes in medium to low flame.
  12. Just after 5, turn off the flame. In this stage, you will see water is just little in the pan. Now you add the tender coconut past with the prawns very well.
  13. Then after fut all the curry along with the jumbo prawn inside the green tender coconut shell and seal ithe top of the cococnut with a raw wheat flate bread dough.
If you want to do this recipe on Microwave then
  1. Put the stuffed tender coconut into a 220-degree preheated microwave for 45 minutes. once 45 minutes done remove the coconut from the oven and serve hot with some Clarified Butter or Ghee and a pinch of extra Bengali garam masala from the top.
But If you want to do this dish on gas flame then
  1. Put the stuffed tender coconut inside pressure cooker or cooking vessels. add some hot water inside the pressure cooker or the cooking vessels. Close the lid and cook for 45Minutes in very low gas flame. or cook inside the cooker until pressure cooker whistle list thrice.
  2. Once all whistle comes Let the vapour of the pressure cooker get released completely naturally. Then open the lid and serve the whole tender coconut with some extra Bengali garam masala powder and Clarified Butter or Ghee from the top of the dish. Serve this dish when it’s hot.
  3. I am sure this truly delicious, yummy and flavorful dish would easily take all the attention at the dinner table.Enjoy the dish with your family
  4. Prefer to serve this delicious dish with hot steamed white rice or with any simple Pilaf/Pulao
