Bengali Fried Rice Recipe Very Easy Indian Veg Pulao Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3Cups of Long Grain Basmati RiceWashed and cleaned
  • 1Cups of Finely chopped carrrot
  • 1Cups of Finely chopped Green beans
  • 1/3Cups of Fresh or Frozen Peas
  • 1Piece of Dry bay leaves
  • 1Tsp full Ground small cardammom
  • 1Tbsp White Suger
  • 1 and 1/2Tbsp Salt or salt as per your taste
  • 3Tbsp Clarified Butter or Ghee
  • 2Tbsp raisins
  • 2Tbsp Cashew nuts
  • 6Cups of Water
Instructions
  1. Take a big cooking pot. Boil 6 cups of water without salt. high
  2. Now boil the rice for 10 minutes in high flame. After 10 minutes check if the rice is cooked properly turn off the gas and stain the water of rice help of a sieve and wash the rice quickly with running cold water. If you washed the boiled hot rice in running water then the cooking process will be stop and rice will be lo starchy.
  3. Now take another cooking pan or pot. Hot the pan or pot enough then add all the vegetables, bay leaves, cashew nuts, raisins or sultanas and clarified butter or ghee to it. Mix well and fry for 10 minutes over the medium heat.
  4. After 10 minutes add sugar and salt to the pan and fry for 5 minutes over the very low flame. In this stage dot high the gas flame then the goes will burn and it will caramelized and bitter in taste. Which we don’t want.
  5. After 5 minutes add the rice 1 cup at a time mix well then add another cups of rice. When all the rice mix well with the other ingredients add the ground cardamom to it and mix well with the rice and turn off the gas. the dis is ready to serve.
  6. Serve this dish with any curry or lentil dish you like. It goes just perfect with any curry. Or you can eat this without anything else. Enjoy this delicious tasty homemade pulao rice with your family and friends.
